Hall of Famous

The Starkville Foundation for Public Education established the Hall of Famous Award in 1992 for the purpose of honoring alumni of the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District.  The award recognizes former students, faculty or friends who have, as a result of their association with SOCSD, made significant contributions to society.  Previous inductees are/were involved in education, medicine, military service, business and finance, the arts, and athletics.

Nominees must have graduated from Starkville High School, or the former East Oktibbeha, West Oktibbeha or Henderson High Schools at least 25 years ago; they must have made significant contributions to both community service and public education. Outstanding contributors to the Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District may also be considered.

Call for nominations for Hall of Famous occurs early in the calendar year and will be announced on our Facebook page. To nominate, please complete the online nomination form. If you have questions, please email them to
