Spirit of the Foundation Scholarship

The Spirit of the Foundation Scholarship ($500) is awarded to a student who would like to continue his/her education at a four-year College/University, Community College, or Vocational/Technical School. The application should include: (1) a resume, (2) three (3) signed recommendation letters (at least one of which must be from a high school teacher), (3) applicants must be recipients of the Free or Reduced Lunch Program (statement from school district required), and (4) a 225-300 word maximum essay written by the applicant to include the following information:

• Description of participation in academic, non-academic, extra-curricular and/or community activities
• Goals to be achieved as a result of receiving this scholarship
• Impact this scholarship will have on your future educational pursuits
